Baltimore's Antique Row

Located in the 800 Block of North Howard Street and 200 Block of West Read Street; Antique Row has been the premiere antique shopping district in Baltimore for the last hundred years. We hope that you can find a listing below to entice you; please contact that particular shop to make sure they will be open when you plan to visit. There is on-street metered parking in both blocks as well as several pay parking lots and garages in the vicinity. Within a ten minute walk are located many cultural institutions including the Maryland Historical Society, Walters Art Galley, Washington Monument, Myerhoff Symphony Hall, Lyric Opera Theater, and many other interesting attractions.  We hope to add a map in the future, for now here are some written directions you can use.

Directions to Antique Row:

(From the North): South on I-83, take Exit 5 and turn left on Maryland Avenue, continue as it becomes Cathedral Street, turn right on Madison Street, go two blocks and turn right onto the 800 block of North Howard Street.

(From the East): West on Route 40 as it changes from Pulaski Hwy. to Orleans Street and then Franklin Street, turn right on Howard Street and go 3 blocks north to Antique Row.

(From the South): From I-95 take Exit 53 onto I-395 north and then exit onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, turn right on Druid Hill Avenue and follow as it becomes Centre Street, and then turn left on North Howard Street as you cross the trolley tracks and go two blocks north to Antique Row.  Or you can continue on King and take the first right after Eutaw Street, stay in the far right lane and go 25 yards and immediately turn right onto the 800 block of North Howard Street. From the Baltimore-Washington Parkway exit onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and follow the above directions.

(From the West): Go East on Route 40 as it changes from the Baltimore National Pike to the Route 40 Expressway and then exits onto Mulberry Street, turn left onto North Howard Street at the trolley tracks and follow four blocks north to Antique Row. A second method is to follow I-695 south and take Exit 11 onto I-95 north and then take Exit 53 onto I-395 north; continue on as in the "From the South" directions.
