No mono. 4.12" high, 5.38" long, 2.38" lip diameter, 2.5" foot diameter, 8.2 troy oz. Missing its cover. $ 250.

Antique American Silver Coffee Pot in a double swell form on domed foot, the sides, spout and handle chased with floral and foliate decoration, the foot with similar applied band, the cover with small dome topped by cast Chinaman finial; marked by Samuel Kirk and struck with the Baltimore City marks used by assayer Samuel Steele c.1831-1834 11.25" high, 12.75" long, 5.12" foot diameter, holds 4.5 pints, 40 troy oz. Mono erased. Split in cover decoration. $ 3,000.

Mono "JAH". 9.5" high, 10.5" long, 4.75" foot diameter, holds 3.25 pints, 31.4 troy oz. Handle a bit loose due to insulator shrinkage. $ 2,500.

Intertwined mono "KMcK"? 7.5" high, 6.5" long, 3.44" foot diameter, 14.25 troy oz. Small crack at rim adjoining upper handle joint. $ 1,250.

Pair Antique American Silver Waiters of circular form on three cast ball & claw feet, the rim chased with foliate repoussé decoration, the surface engraved with bright cut diamond diaper work; made by Samuel Kirk & Son of Baltimore MD, c.1870.Mono "FFF" within hexafoil reserve. 0.88" high, 7.0" diameter, 16.8 troy oz. total. This could date just prior to the Civil War rather than just after it. $ 1,200.

Kirk & Son of Baltimore MD, c.1875-1895. No mono. 2.0" high, 4.62" long, 3.5" lip diameter, 2.12" base diameter, 3.6 troy oz. Base worn, mono erased? This model has been seen both with and without cover. $ 225.

Pair Antique American Silver Salt Cellars of rectangular form on stamped paw feet, the sides stamped with a view of a large country house, heavy glass liners; unmarked but possibly made by Leonard & Wilson of Philadelphia PA, c.1850. No mono. 1.88" long, 3.75" long, 3.0" wide, 2.2 troy oz. total (without glass). The ends are a trimmed down section of the side views made from the same dies. $ 800.

Smith of Philadelphia PA, working 1805-1811. Engraved foliate scroll mono "JB". 5.62" high, 5.12" long, 2.75" wide, 5.1 troy oz. Repaired at lower handle joint and at base. $ 575.

Masi & Co. of Washington DC, c.1825-1840. 4.0" high, 4.5" long, 3.0" lip diameter, 2.25" foot diameter, 5.6 troy oz. Polished with probable monogram erasure. $ 1,200.

Antique American Silver Tea Pot of circular classical form on spreading foot, hollow swan neck spout and c-scroll handle, hinged domed lid with cast and chased bud finial, thin applied "wire twist" edge at shoulder; marked by F. Masi & Co. of Washington DC, c.1825-1840. Fancy foliate mono "B". 10.25" high, 10.75" long, 5.5" wide, 4.38" foot diameter, holds 3 pints, 28.8 troy oz. $ 3,000.

The Pitcher of barrel form with cast pineapple finial on the domed cover, hollow c-scroll handle, and engraved "JAA" within a wreath on each side; the 6 Tumblers of tapering cylindrical raised form, engraved "JA" within a wreath; marked [PITMAN] on the pitcher ring foot and [Pitman] on the tumbler bases for Saunders Pitman of Providence RI. Pitcher: 12.0" high, 8.5" long, 6.0" wide, 4.5" foot diameter, 28.6 troy oz., 5.5 pint capacity; Tumblers: 3.62" high, 3.25" lip diameter, 2.5" base diameter, 4.2 troy oz. each, 1.25 cup capacity. Finial restored. These pieces are noted on an original account invoices as being ordered in 1804 by James Arnold. $ 25,000.

Antique American Silver Youth Cup of cylindrical form with milled foliate foot rim and hollow s-scroll handle, the acid matte body engraved with aesthetic style floral decoration with two applied gilt birds; marked with trademark of William Schulz & Emil A. Fischer of San Francisco CA. 3.88" high, 4.25" long, 2.88" lip diameter, 3.12" foot diameter, 4.6 troy oz. Engraved intertwined mono "DM" above  "Jan.23rd `1876". $ 1,000.
1486-24.jpg (39284 bytes) 1486-24. Antique American Silver Snuffbox of shaped rectangular form with hinged plain top above  a bombé milled foliate band on the sides; made by Andrew E. Warner of Baltimore MD, c.1830-1840.  0.62" high, 2.75" long, 1.75" deep, 2.4 troy oz. Mono "TBS". $ 2,500.

Antique American Silver Large Covered Sugar Urn, the foot and cover chased with floral repoussé decoration between fluting, the body chased with fantastic landscape and floral repoussé decoration, two cast and chased foliate applied loop handles, cast and bolted foliate and bud finial; marked by Andrew E. Warner of Baltimore MD. Engraved "Kernan" in script. 10.5" high overall, 8.12" high at lip, 7.5" long, 6.25" lip diameter, 4.38" foot diameter, 32.2 troy oz. This piece is presumably the "Sugar Bowl"  ordered by P. Kernan on 30 March 1848 noted at 33 troy oz. 13 dwts and costing $75.70. (Warner Order Book p.116). $ 4,000.

Antique American Silver Punch Bowl of hemispherical form on spreading pedestal foot, both foot and body chased with repoussé grapevine decorated band on an allover chased matte background, applied plain heavy wire edge on the undulating lip rim; marked by Andrew E. Warner of Baltimore MD, c.1850-1875. 7.88" high, 10.38" lip diameter, 5.75" foot diameter, 30.5 troy oz. Mono "NHM" may be later. $ 4,500.

Engraved "CEK May 22.1875." 3.62" high, 4.5" long, 3.0" diameter, 6.0 troy oz. The [112] quality mark is the sterling standard. $ 900.

Mono "JKB". 1.25" high, 2.0" diameter, 1.1 troy oz. Nice example of a unusual marked napkin ring of the period. $ 250.

Some dings on the body and a little scuffing under part of the engraving. SOLD
